Research Topic: Enhancing UAV Semantic Scene Understanding and Control through Computer Vision and ML.

Welcome to my academic website. I am currently a doctoral student in Computer Science at the Universitat Politècnica de València, where my research focuses on vision and learning with special emphasis on their applications with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). My advisors are Carlos T. Calafate and Gemma Roig.

I received a 5-year degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2013, and a MSc in Multimedia Information Technology from City University of Hong Kong in 2015. My research interests include computer vision, ML, and robotics.

On this website, you can find more information about my research, and contact information. Thank you for visiting.

Research

My current research focuses on using computer vision and ML techniques to enable UAVs to navigate and make decisions in complex environments. This includes developing algorithms for object detection, tracking, and classification, as well as integrating these algorithms into UAV control systems. By developing algorithms that enable UAVs to perceive and interpret their surroundings in real-time, we aim to improve the capabilities and performance of these systems in a variety of applications.

One key focus of my work is on semantic scene understanding, which involves using ML algorithms to recognize and classify objects in the environment, as well as to understand the spatial relationships between objects. This enables UAVs to navigate and interact with their surroundings in a more intelligent and autonomous manner.
