Special Track on IT for Environmental Intelligence
as part of the ACM International Conference on Information Technology for Social Good (GoodIT 2022)

The Environmental Intelligence sector is emerging as one where technology meets real-world challenges and is set to become more significant as climate change and environmental issues dominate public interest. Environmental Intelligence (EI) is a technology-driven process harnessing the power of big data, artificial intelligence, and analytics tools to produce real-time visualizations, predictive modelling and actionable insights for businesses, local governments, and ecological associations. The Special track on IT for Environmental Intelligence seeks papers describing significant research contributions related with the application of IT technologies for Environmental Intelligence. Papers that address important research challenges related with, but not limited to:
TOPICS
- Modelling and predicting socio/environmental evolution
- Digital solutions for Cultural Heritage
- Novel approaches to resilient, reliable, and environmentally responsible in-situ monitoring
- Enabling new approaches to monitoring, analysis, and management of critical resources
- Obtention of reliable data and models at multiple levels of granularity for environmental policy making.
- Reduced environmental footprint for environmental ICT.

GoodIT 2022 will follow the new workflow defined by the ACM called TAPS, so please read the instructions on the ACM page carefully. This new workflow allows to have a final document in both PDF and HTML5 accessible formats. More details can be found in the main page of the conference.
Papers length
Papers must not exceed 11 single-column pages, including including figures, tables, and references.
